Apr 8: Sembcorp, SGX, Midas

Shares in Singapore ended 0.6% lower on Monday, in line with regional bourses. The benchmark Straits Times Index lost 19.13 points to close at 3,193.59. Here are some stocks that could move the market this Tuesday morning:

Sembcorp Industries said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sembcorp (China) Holding Co, the company has signed a joint venture agreement to build, own and operate an industrial wastewater treatment plant in the Jingmen Chemical Industrial Park (JCIP).

Singapore Exchange has started clearing non-deliverable interest rate swaps (NDIRS) for the Malaysian ringgit and Thai baht, broadening the range of over-the-counter financial contracts that can be settled on its platform.

Midas Holdings announced it has won 318 million yuan ($64.4 million) worth of contracts for high-speed train car body components worth from CNR Tangshan Railway Vehicle Company.
