Oxley Holdings’ board of directors on Monday proposed to split every two ordinary shares into three shares. The directors said the share split will increase the market liquidity of the shares and broaden its shareholder base. The company, which has an issued share capital of $163.88 million comprising 2.98 billion issued shares, will have 4.42 billion shares if the proposed share split is approved.
China Everbright International plans to inject $1.2 billion worth of waste water treatment plants into HanKore Environment Tech Group, in a deal that will create one of China's largest waste water firms. In a statement late on Monday, HanKore said the purchase of the water assets from Chinese investment giant China Everbright will be satisfied by the issue of 1.94 billion HanKore shares valued at around $1.2 billion.
